Karim Barkawi
CEO

Traditionally, after-sales care is fragmented, with different vendors focused on different parts of after-sales services. As CEO of an industry-leading supply chain and after-sales solutions company, Karim set out to change this. He built a team that identified industry weak points and created a more effective process based on standardization, efficiency, and profit derived from that gained efficiency – a true win-win model. The result was B2X and its proprietary cloud-based IT platform, B2X Total Care©.

Karim focuses on improving efficiencies in the after-sales process by continually cultivating fresh ideas – both technological and operational – and recruiting the best people in the industry. His vision is for B2X to be the “go-to” company for any after-sales challenge potential clients may face, and to be the type of company clients think of as nice and smart.

In 1994, Karim launched Barkawi Management Consultants, one of the largest and most successful supply chain and after-sales solutions companies in the industry. A combination of successful spin-offs, including B2X, form the basis of the thriving Barkawi Group.

Raul Sfat

Years of experience in the telecom industry have taught Raul many lessons. One is that exceptional vendors and resources are abundant, but their values are limited without a partner who can leverage their unique strengths into something greater for clients: lower costs, high performance, accelerated growth, and happy end-users. And this makes B2X’s growing list of clients very happy.

Charged with the responsibility of driving B2X’s rapid growth, Raul delivered outstanding results for B2X in just a few years. He secured deals with more than 20 blue chip clients including Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, HP, and Telefonica, and significantly increased sales volume.

Raul’s consulting background includes expertise gained at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Barkawi Management Consultants, where he led a number of international consultancy projects. As Director Corporate Ventures at Barkawi Group, he secured series A funding of Barkawi Group spin-offs, including B2X.

Alexander Nedelchev
Vice President Business Development

To master after-sales service needs anywhere in the world – this was B2X’s vision when Alexander joined the company. And he’s executing this goal successfully.

In just a few years, Alexander led B2X into regions where doing business can be challenging such as Russia, the Nordic countries, and remote areas of Africa and South America. The results to date: B2X serves end-users in over 100 countries and in 30 languages on six continents.

Alexander’s abundant experience in growing high tech companies in the US, Europe, and Russia helped him develop deep insight into growing B2X’s business across the globe. He steered a $250M software account worldwide as Global Enterprise Director at Cadence Design Systems. Alexander managed Bain & Company’s expansion in Ukraine using western client investment, and he was tasked with turnaround assignments for mid-sized companies at HHP. As CEO-EMEA at WaferNet, the company enjoyed a ten-fold growth in revenue.

Georg Dietrich
Vice President Corporate Functions

After-sales services aren’t typically considered “exciting”. But Georg believes B2X gives its clients a reason to care: cost savings that make CFOs, COOs, and everyone across the client’s organization take notice.

Because of Georg’s broad experience in finance, sourcing, and IT, B2X has implemented highly efficient management and controlling systems that help clients lower after-sales costs by up to 25%. And that’s very exciting.

Georg came to B2X from Barkawi Holding and Barkawi Management Consultants, where he consulted to international clients on cost reduction, optimization of working capital, controlling, restructuring, and IT strategy. As Director Corporate Equity he performed interim finance management for Barkawi spin-offs.

Martin Hedtrich
Vice President Operations

Deliver on our promises. To Martin, it’s the key to everything when it comes to an outstanding after-sales service experience. 

As a veteran of the IT service industry, Martin knows that an exceptional customer experience builds value, preference, and even passion for clients’ brands. He and his team of 110 service managers continually optimize B2X planning and logistics operations in order to the lead the industry to new levels.

Martin joined B2X after 18 years in managerial positions in the IT service industry. In senior roles at Siemens IT Services and Nixdorf Computer, Martin introduced centralized spare part planning processes, significantly reduced circulation time, fault and repair costs, and radically reduced spare part inventory while increasing the service degree at the best-in-class level.

Morad Khosrow Shahi

For Morad, an exceptional customer experience is about more than just technology alone. It’s the combination of people, processes, and a cutting-edge platform that delivers what customers want: a fully functional product back in hand quickly and easily.

With a deep expertise in CRM, financial services, and e-business IT solutions, Morad drove the development of B2X’s proprietary technology. To him, technology is a key tool for delivering results – one that can be continually enhanced for even greater efficiencies, customer experience, and performance.

Morad brings over 20 years of industry experience and leadership in enterprise IT, from global enterprise architecture projects to transformation management and strategy/program leadership. He held senior positions at financial services provider Computershare Group, Pepper Technologies, and at TPS Labs, a CRM software company he co-founded.

Jean-Michel Berthelot

Before joining B2X, Jean-Michel held senior positions at Alcatel, Avaya and Motorola where he led initiatives to cut reverse logistics costs in half, create value-added services structures, and integrate previously fragmented service teams to increase revenue and margins.

Thomas Müller

More than 20 years of experience in all areas of telecom customer care have shown Thomas that the key to customer satisfaction is simple: provide true customer value and deliver what you promise. Thomas continually innovates new ways to put fully functional products in the customers’ hands more quickly, easily, and cost effectively.

Thomas’s deep experience in managing global after-sales activities for one of the world’s largest telecom manufacturers - in infrastructure and in consumer business- gives him unique insight into the needs and challenges of B2X’s clients. Thomas is a key player in helping B2X build value, preference, and even passion for clients’ brands, by delivering a positive customer experience from end-to-end.

Thomas served in a number of senior management positions at Nokia Networks, NSN and Nokia, including Head of Logistics for Central Europe, Head of Mobile Network Deployment Business for Europe, Director of Nokia Networks and NSN’s global Hardware Services business, and Senior Director CARE Repair Operations. Thomas redesigned and restructured the global care services networks in 100 countries within 30 months, leading to major improvements in customer experience, KPIs, and cost savings. Before joining Nokia Networks in 1993, Thomas was responsible for implementation, maintenance, repair & overhaul of mission critical communications and computer systems for NATO, where he was an officer.
