Every year since 2002, the Bavarian Department of Trade and Industry awards the title of "Bavaria’s Best 50" to businesses which have achieved above-average increases in employee and turnover growth through their operations in the last five years. Winners of the award are selected by the accountancy firm Ernst & Young. Martin Zeil, the Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs, praised the distinguished businesses in the Imperial Hall of the Munich Residence, stating: "In the current economic climate, the demand for entrepreneurs who conduct their business with motivation, foresight and a willingness to take risks is greater than ever. In awarding the prize of "Bavaria’s Best 50", we honour those businesses which particularly embody all these qualities".

B2X Supply Solutions takes over the warranty management of consumer electronics, telecommunication and IT products through their subsidiary company, B2X Care Solutions, on behalf of leading manufacturers. As general contractor, B2X offers a comprehensive service package, ranging from the call centre, through to the management of logistics, repair and the supply of replacement parts. The business, which started out in the year 2000, has shown significant turnover growth in the last five years, with the number of employees increasing from five to 64.

In view of the current economic crisis, B2X is optimistic about the future. Karim Barkawi, the CEO and founder of the business, commented on the current situation that “In times of high cost pressure, most businesses concentrate on their core competencies and seek to keep expenses, such as warranty costs, as calculable and as low as possible. This is where the strength of our business model lies, and we are currently seeing a great demand for our services. We are extremely proud to accept this award, and in the light of all that this accolade stands for, we will continue to do all we can to further develop B2X in the forthcoming years”.
