B2X and Barkawi examine current status of product related services for Consumer Electronics
Munich, April 28, 2010 – The new „3C“-study (Computers, Consumer Electronics, Communication Products) by B2X and Barkawi Management Consultants shows a snapshot of the consumer technologies industries. It describes how value chain networks are setup today and which changes they are undergoing as the product providers in this sector are increasingly offering product related services and value-add services for their devices.
„The 3C market is hot. The industry is affected by an enormous innovation potential which is being realized. New products with rapidly expanding functionalities enter the market in constantly shortened periods of time and at constantly declining prices”, says Christoph Beuter, author of the survey. “This means that future differentiation is primarily possible by entering new fields of applications for products and by providing new product related services”, explains Beuter.
